Eliot had a bad Monday

Yesterday Eliot started the Monday with loosing his balance and hitting his head hard on the floor. The result was a big swollen lip. The first thing he did on daycare was the "brilliant" idea of going down the slide with the head first, resulting in a nice little scratch-wound on the nose. He almost looks like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. :)

After about a week in Meselefors, we drove down to the cabin in Dalarna to escape the bad weather and the mosquitos. All the nine-hour drive it rained cats and dogs. One day we did a surprise trip for the kids to the Lycksele Vivarium for them to see and pet animals. Both of them liked it and we ended the day on the restaurant Knut'n in central Lycksele.We saw goats, moose, pigs, sheeps, horses, wolverines, otters, seals, beavers, and hen. Today we had a wonderful day in Bromma with a lot of sun so we decided to have the first barbecue of the year. Just some plain hot dogs but still the first barbecue. :)It was also the first dinner on our self-made table that we made this week. Att lägga pärlplattor... Det började med att Engla skulle höra några plattor, sedan tog mamma över och gjorde en massa roliga figurer. Dessa My Little Pony-figurer är mycket uppskattade av Engla. :)

There have been too few postings lately at this blog. The time is flying a little toooooo fast.This afternoon, Annelie left for Gothenburg for some well-deserved vacation. She is staying with her old friend Elisabeth and her family (Rickard, Elias and Jonathan). They have not seen each other for years so I guess the days will be filled with shopping, story telling and a lot of nice dinners. :)

Today, Eliot somehow got his hands on some of Annelie's Belgian chocolate and enjoyed it a lot! Suddenly we heard Engla shout in the living room: "Eliot! Oooooh! Gross!!" För er som inte vet vem Peter är så bodde vi i samma studentkorridor under två år i Kiruna. I snökaosets tid var jag väääldigt glad att jag bokat flygbiljetter istället för tågbiljetter. :)

Den här veckan har inte varit den bästa i Enstjärnas historia. Det började med att jag blev helt galet magsjuk natten mellan lördag/söndag och var heeelt borta hela söndagen.
